Dr. Kayode Ajulo, lawyer and rights activists said President Muhammadu Buhari’s poor handling of the agitation by the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) will greatly affect his chances in the South-East during the 2019 presidential election.

Speaking in an interview, Ajulo said contrary to claims by some people that the APC has made serious in-roads into the South-East, he insisted that even the President knows that he will have serious problems getting votes from the region.

“I don’t think President Buhari will get massive votes from the South East. It is something that even the blind man could see that he even has more problems in the South-East.

“It is so clear, and I am sure that if he was to be interviewed, he would tell you that where one of his biggest headaches would come from, is the South-East, particularly with how the issue of IPOB was poorly managed,” he said.
